not much of a post..
while writing about dsp i found:

i was unimpressed by the description of properties which led me to follow a link:

my reason for posting this is, of course, because of the utility of the golden ratio in dsp. this ‘plastic number,’ 1.324717957244746025960908854.. is not as extreme a ratio and eg. would produce a denser algorithmic reverb.
